The 2009 European Tour season is underway and the Race to Dubai is on! This week we are in Hong Kong, for the UBS Hong Kong Open which is a co-sanctioned event with the Asian Tour.
Singapore Open winner and Team DryJoys member, Jeev Milkha Singh, is looking to continue his good form this week, whilst it is also great to see long-time FootJoy wearer and past winner of the Hong Kong Open, Jose Maria Olazabal back in the fold.
This is a busy period for the European FootJoy Tour staff as they look to take orders from FootJoy wearers ready for the start of 2009…
Young Titleist and FootJoy ambassador, and a player in great form, Rory McIlroy has placed his order for some very nice Classics for next season, as he looks to break into the OWGR Top 50. He is relishing the opportunity to record his maiden European Tour title this week. Styles he has chosen include 50961, 50695 & 50666. He has also got some very fetching Custom Classics on order too!
Fellow Titleist ambassadors Peter O’Malley, Martin Erlandsson, Paul Waring and Pablo Larrazabal have all placed their shoe orders, along with their requests for the new FootJoy range of outerwear for the 2009 season. Be sure to keep an eye-out for these new garments as the players hit the fairways in next year. The guys really liked the new styling and colors available.
Peter O’Malley has been wearing the new SYNR-G for the past couple of months and has ordered a few more pairs to keep him going
Players have continued to place orders for MyJoys, taking the opportunity to customise their shoes, whether it be in the colors of their favorite football team, or with their national flag.
