Dudley Hart pgatourLooking for a feel-good story about perspective and perseverance? Look no further than Dudley Hart who has played the best golf of his career in the last nine months to, not only retain full playing status on the PGA Tour, but earn some nice perks in the process. Well deserved for a guy who left golf for most of last year to care for his wife and the couples 6-year-old triplets as she recovered from a cancer scare that involved major surgery.

After reading this story from Craig Dolch at pgatour.com, it would be difficult to find a better candidate for Comeback Player of the Year than Dudley Hart.

UPDATE: Here’s a story in the Miami Herald about Dudley capping a great season by qualifying for this week’s TOUR Championship in Atlanta.

I am happy to see everything work out for Dudley and his family! I have followed his career for a long time, and to watch the year he had in ‘08 was fun! It is all truly a blessing for Dudley and his family! Good luck with your 3rd win in ‘09!
