[We received this Tour update last week from our friends on the European Tour...]

A couple of glorious sunny days in Northern France at AA St Omer Golf Club, where we had the opportunity to work with some of the up an coming young talent on the European Tour and European Challenge Tour.

This is one of the few events where we get to see a large number of Challenge Tour players at a European Tour event, so there was plenty of action on the Titleist Tour Support Vehicle this week, with players placing shoe orders, changing spikes and checking glove and shoe sizes to see them through to the end of the season.

Plenty of positive comments from players regarding the comfort and style of the new DryJoys. They are looking forward to putting them to the test around the undulating terrain at AA St Omer. This was accentuated by Chris Gane who came to the Acushnet European headquarters earlier in the year for a shoe fitting. This is the first time we have see him since and he is delighted with his new size and fit of DryJoys. So much so, he has spread the word to his playing colleagues who would also like to benefit from this service. John E Morgan and John Mellor both made visits to the FootJoy Tour reps for shoe fittings this week, for advice on shoe sizing and styles.

Paul Waring & Pablo Larrazabal (custom Black with White Classics Tour butterfly design) both collected new shoes for the event. Pablo also wanted to know if the shoes knew how to win! …….. FJ #1 shoe in golf …… enough said!
