Brian,

Hunter is a big fan of our shield-tip style. You will see him wearing a different colored version of that style almost every week. Even though Hunter's shoes are not shown in the slideshow, we did actually send a pair down to Augusta. We are all hoping our players choose to put these special shoes into play this week. If we get some pictures we will surely post another slideshow.

Elliot, the key to getting the maximum performance and comfort from any golf shoe is attaining the perfect size and fit for your foot. As you can imagine, every player on tour is completely in tune with all aspects of his game. Determining their optimal shoe size is paramount to these players-- any discomfort will detract from their focus and ultimately their ability to play their best. We have a Tour Staff that is dedicated to making sure each FJ Tour player is properly fit into the right size and category of FJ shoes. One of the many benefits of our Classics line of products is the alpha sizing capabilities which enables a player to fine-tune his sizing needs as far as width requirements (Classics shoes can be ordered in AAA-EEE widths). In addition, we offer several last options and determining the last that is best-suited for your particular foot characteristics will drastically improve your overall fit and comfort. Because the FJ tour players are in tune with their accurate shoe size, the break-in period for shoes - even Classics- is minimal. Also, the quality materials that are used in creating a pair of Classics (calfskin leather, full leather linings, etc) will enable the shoes to shape to your foot over time resulting in the most comfortable, best-fitting golf shoes available. Having a shoe that fits improperly can lead to discomfort and even blistering. Our advice would be to seek a proper fit from your local golf professional or trained shoe specialist.

Thanks for the question. I hope this helps.

Love this photo gallery; as a former FJ employee, I feel it is a creative way of bringing the Brockton Tour into the homes of avid core golf fans.

My question is, how do these guys break their classics in for the masters? I have had 6 pairs of classics and usually have to wear them a few times to break them in before wearing them on the course. Any tricks for breaking the shoes in faster? Thanks
